Consider this your Invitation to a fellowship of believers that provides an atmosphere for developing a personal relationship with Christ and with one another. At Summit Mennonite Church we minister to one another and to the community spiritually, emotionally, and physically. We are a progressive, inclusive fellowship seeking justice and righteousness. We strive to proclaim Christ as Lord of our lives in both word and deed. Our service is somewhat traditional but informal. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
What to Expect on a Sunday morning at Summit
People will be wearing anything from jeans to suits. We are a small group with an average attendance of 10-15 people. Because we are small, worship is participatory, everyone is cared for, and we are driven by our mission to the community around us.
Worship will begin in the fellowship hall of Grace UCC at 10:15am and usually lasts one hour. A typical service will have a welcome, singing, prayers, scripture, sermon, sharing of prayer concerns and blessing.
