What to Expect on a Sunday morning at Summit
Upon arriving at Summit, you can expect to be greeted at the door by someone who will give you a bulletin, answer any questions, and help you find your way through the church building.
People will be wearing anything from jeans to suits. You will find people from babies to people in their 80’s. We are a small group with an average attendance of 41 people. Because we are small, worship is participatory, children are mentored individually, everyone is cared for, and we are driven by mission to the community around us.
Worship will begin in the sanctuary at 10am and usually lasts one hour. A typical service will have a welcome, singing, prayers, scripture, sermon, sharing of prayer concerns and blessing.
After Worship, at 10:45 a.m. there is a short time of fellowship with coffee and other drinks.
Sunday School / Bible study classes will begin at 11:00 a.m. There are classes for children and adults. In these classes the Bible is studied and applied to our personal lives.
